I almost skipped this podcast interview with Wesley Morris because, frankly, I’m kind of tired of hearing people talking about Oscar nominations. But I love Wesley’s writing, so I decided to give this episode a listen after all.

Sam Fragoso is one of my favorite interviewers and he expertly leads an incredibly thoughtful conversation. And in the end Wesley’s insights on race and Oscar nominations was spot on and something I hadn’t heard before. I highly recommend giving this a listen and getting lost in the conversation.
