First Snow

According to the NYC Emergency Management office today marks the end of a 701-day streak without 1-inch of snow accumulation in Central Park.

I, for one, was so bummed last year when it didn’t snow at all. I always say I live in New York so I can experience all the seasons and I can be a big dork about the first snowfall of the season. I love throwing snowballs, catching snowflakes on my tongue…all that Hallmark movie garbage. I find the snow absolutely charming for the 12-18 or so hours before it turns into disgusting gray sludge. But, dare I say, I think I even missed the sludge? A winter without any snow at all is depressing in my opinion. So FINALLY we got some snow in New York and it’s giving me all the hygge feelings.
